Consumer data is a huge business — and something that consumers themselves have shockingly little say in. Our client wanted to change that: to give consumers the opportunity to choose to share their valuable data in exchange for financial tools and perks.

They created a data platform for marketers built on this foundation of ethically sourced data. We stepped in to help create the name. Goals for the name were to feel trustworthy and serious yet accessible.

Ultimately, the name Attain was selected. It works well for marketers and consumers alike, conveying that marketers can attain data and marketing goals, while consumers can attain financial goals and control over their personal data. A clear, simple story wrapped up in a serious-but-not-stodgy name.
